Feature and BenefitStrong : Dupont™ Zodiaq® provides superior strength and dutability. It can withstand most of the impacts caused by daily use. The material has been tested for its mechanical, thermal and other surface properties. Homogeneous : Consistent structure and aestheics ensure a coherent appearance throughout an installation while colours and patterns, which run through the material, cannot wear off. Hygienic : Zodiaq® surfaces are non-porous and therefore hygienic. The material does not support the growth of bacteria or fungi and is DIN EN ISO846-certified. Workable Like Stone : Dupont™ Zodiaq® can be precisely and uniformly cut and installed to meet individual design requirements. The tools are the same as those used for any natural stone and Zodiaq® can be machined, sandblasted and inlaid. A wide variety of edge treatments is available. |

Nontoxic and Nonallergenic : Zodiaq® is insert and is nontoxic and nonallergenic to humans. The material is third-party certified to be free of heavy metals and comply with the EU Directive 2002/95EC on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS). Low Maintenance : Zodiaq® is non-porous and stain resistant, so no surface sealing is required. Environmentally Friendly : Dupont™ Zodiaq® is fabricated in compliance with strict standards to limit waste and energy consumption at all stages of production. The material meets or exceeds emissions guidelines for volatile organic compounds. Dimensions and Colours : Zodiaq® is available in slabs with a typical size or 140 cm wide and 306 cm long. Different colours and surface finishes are available in 20 and 30 mm thickness as standard. Thinner materials are available upon request. |

Zodiaq® is also heat-and scratch-resistant, but not heat- and scratch-proof. Therefore, the use of a cutting board is recommended when using a knife.

Routine care
With simple care, Zodiaq® will retain its radiant, lustrous appearance for many years. For routine cleaning, use a damp cloth or paper towel and, if necessary, a small amount of non-bleach, nonabrasive cleanser.
Preventing Heat and Other Damage
To maintain the beauty of Zodiaq®, do not place hot skillets or roasting pans directly onto the surface. DuPont™ recommends the use of trivets and hot pads.

Removing Difficult Spills
Sometimes spills occur and dry on the countertop. For materials that harden as they dry (such as gum, food, grease, nail polish or paint), remove by gently scraping away the excess with a plastic putty knife.
