Metal Care and Maintenance To keep aluminum and wrought iron looking its best for years to come, we recommend some minimal care. Aluminum Frame Care and Maintenance
Regular washing and thorough rinsing of the aluminum frame with mild liquid detergent and warm water will remove surface dirt, outdoor contaminants and body oils. The periodic application of a good automobile wax on aluminum frame (smooth finishes only) will help extend the life and beauty.
On textured finishes, periodically apply mineral or baby oil. The multi-step finishing process results in a stain resistant finish. Severe stains may require light sanding and touch-up painting. The finish is formulated and baked on to make it highly resistant to insect repellents and suntan lotions. To avoid discoloration, clean the frame as soon as possible after exposure to these chemicals. |
Wrought Iron Frame Care and Maintenance
Wrought iron is pure iron that is combined with a glass-like material that, when heated, can be hammered into shape.
Clean with warm, soapy water. Damage to the paint finish may cause corrosion, touch up with paint immediately. To maintain the gloss on non-textured finishes, protect with a fine automotive wax. On textured finishes, periodically apply mineral or baby oil. Severe stains may require light sanding and touch-up painting. Stainless Steel Care and Maintenance
Stainless steel will remain beautiful as the first time you bought and will not be attacked by insects, crack or even get mouldy. However; to keep it beautiful and shiny, care and maintenance is still needed for this kind of furniture but in a low cost.
Clean it as soon as it gets dirty in order to keep its attractive lustre and prevent build-up of grime. The maintenance is very easy and will not take much of your precious time. Stainless steel care maintenance doesn’t need any harsh chemicals nor any kind of product to keep it beautiful and shiny. Note; harsh chemicals, abrasive cleansers and scrubbing sponges can damage the surface of stainless steel. Please use a soft cloth in reverse. To remove such as stubborn grime like grease and oil, use warm water and few drops of liquid dish soap or mild detergent which is strong enough not to damage the surface of stainless steel. Leave it on the stain few minutes, rinse with clean water and finally wipe it with a dry cloth. |
